Brake dust is metallic. It needs acid. Low pH Wheel & Rim Cleaner uses low-pH chemistry to dissolve the iron-based brake dust and mineral deposits that high-pH cleaners simply can't touch.

The fresh citrus scented formula clings to wheel surfaces during automatic application, giving the acid chemistry dwell time to break down metallic contamination without damaging wheel finishes when properly diluted. This is the chemistry that makes wheels actually shine, not just look wet.
